10/27/2018 Creating a Garden Fairy House/Tea-Light Holder

posted Aug 9, 2018, 3:08 PM by North Judson-Wayne Township Public Library
This fairy home will be large enough for a diminutive pixie to take up residence. And it will be big enough to hold a tea light for an inviting glow. Folklore has it that if you create a unique fairy home and place it in your garden, you might attract one of the sprites to live in your realm. No matter what, this is a fun creative project for anyone who likes miniatures and accoutrements for the garden. Kari will supply the materials and guidance as you create a Cornwall-style fairy house on a baby food jar base using twigs, pebbles, and grout; with a pine cone roof and other bits of nature.
