Historic North Judson Photos

A few years back we received a donation of some photos which a gentleman found while cleaning the attic of a house he had recently purchased.  You've probably noticed some of them hanging round the library, either upstairs or downstairs, and we have been able to identify a few of them.
Well, we decided to give the whole world a shot at identifying those people we don't know.  So if any of the photos you see below look familiar, or if we have the wrong name, please let us know.  You can send your information to lib.norjud@gmail.com.

Wedding Portraits

An album of wedding pictures of brides, and sometimes grooms. Occasionally the face is familiar but we can't place the names. Do you know who these people are?

Could you be in one of these pictures? Maybe a brother, sister, aunt or uncle?

Formal Sittings

"You oughta be in pictures..." And so they put on their best clothes, fixed their hair, and put their best face forward. Do you recognize any of these people? Quite of few of the pictures were apparently taken just before or just after graduation and some of them might be teachers.

And I saved my favorite photograph for last.  We would love to know who this woman was; her photo shows so much character and I bet she lived a very interesting life.

Men in Uniform

While the majority of these photos are of men in the military service, there is one who was an Indiana State Policeman. Do you have any information on who they are?

Hey, We Know Those People!

It's so obvious who are in these pictures once you know the correct name.

You stare at the face telling yourself, "I know that person. Who is it?" Then someone comes along and says, "Why that's Joe Blow, from Kokomo!" And you ask yourself, "How could I NOT have known?"
