Living History Days at Historic Fort Wayne

In the spring of 2004, the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department issued a request for proposals for a comprehensive plan to revitalize the Old Fort. Of the requests, one came to the attention of a group of concerned citizens who subsequently formed Old Fort Revitalization Project. Their goal was to create a viable proposal which addressed the needs of the site and to develop a historically based education program.

You can experience American frontier life with colonial artisans, battle reenactments, merchants and tours at the Historic Old Fort.
