Well, today was another lazy day for me. Whether it was because of the weather or all the things that are going on tonight, no one showed up for READ Jr. Tail Time. I really don't blame them as I wasn't too anxious to leave the house this morning myself. You know, that snow is pretty darn cold on your feet when you don't wear socks or shoes! And every step I took on the snow I had to worry if it was going to hold me or if I would break down through that barrier of ice. Brrrrrr! The only reason I tolerate the snow and rain we had is because I love to eat and mom said that the farmers need the moisture. I find that sort of silly since it's too cold right now to grow anything here, but mom said that it will be really important later this year, especially if the weather gets too hot. So, I'll save the craft, coloring page and stories for another day. I wonder what mom is thinking of for our next READ Jr. on March 9th? |
