While the weather may not have been to my liking, February was a great month for a lot of kids I know. Just last weekend there were fantastic performances in the NJ-SP High School production of "Fiddler on the Roof," plus award winning performances at State Solo & Ensemble, Academic Decathlon, Cathy Roe's Ultimate Dance Competition - we got a lotta talent in Starke County! And I just found out that the Liberty Elementary Math team took 1st place in the IASP Indiana Math Bowl Regional Competition! Wowzers, I better rein myself in, don't want to put a jinx on any competitions coming up.  And thank you Kim Holt Bachert for the photo. P.S. I really do miss 4-H training, you guys did a good job on me! |
