Policy for Provision of Services to Equal Employment Opportunity for Handicapped Individuals

Should a North Judson and/or a Wayne Township resident patron be unable to get into the library because they are housebound, a member of the staff will gather the desired materials and either place them on reserve until a friend/relative can pick them up or deliver them to the home of the patron when time permits.

If a candidate for employment has a physical handicap which would require the use of specialized equipment to allow them to perform their duties, the Library will supply, if feasible, required job related materials. The Library is not obligated to provide employees with eyeglasses, hearing aids, canes, crutches, braces, or other personal items needed outside of their Library work.
